Brick Day Services are offered to adults with developmental disabilities and those with brain injuries, who reside in Bancroft's Brick Township program and also those living elsewhere.
There are two components to Brick Day Services.
The structured day program provides a range of instructional and therapeutic activities. Many of these activities are classroom-based, others are community-based. The emphasis of these activities is both rehabilitative and developmental in all areas of daily living including, social skills, money management, self-awareness, food and nutrition, and community integration. There is a focused effort to pair classroom-based instruction with real-world, community activities.
The supported employment program provides a range of services that support persons served in finding and maintaining employment or volunteer positions in community settings. Other individuals receive support in educational pursuits such as college coursework, GED attainment, or internships.
