Caroline Eggerding, M.D.

Executive Vice President, Pediatric and Adolescent Services/Chief Medical Officer

As a Developmental Pediatrician, Dr. Caroline Eggerding has been overseeing healthcare services and supports for the entire Bancroft organization as Chief Medical Officer since September 2005, and later that year also assumed responsibility for all Pediatric and Adolescent Programs, as Executive Vice President.

Over the years, Dr. Eggerding has been very active in the State of New Jersey, advocating strongly on behalf of children with disabilities and has been a member of the State Special Education Advisory Council, the American Academy of Pediatrics New Jersey Chapter Committee on Children with Disabilities, and the New Jersey State Task Force on the Education of Students with Autism.

Having received her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis, Dr. Eggerding performed her residency at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and received additional post-graduate training at The Hospital for Sick Children in London. She is a staff physician at Voorhees Pediatric Facility in Voorhees, N.J., and at Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital in Marlton, N.J. Board certified in pediatrics, she is also a diplomate in neurodevelopmental disabilities.
