Bancroft NeuroHealth Receives Highest Level of CARF Accreditation

Haddonfield, NJ -- Following the completion and review of a comprehensive survey conducted last November, Bancroft's programs for people with developmental disabilities, autism and acquired brain injuries throughout South Jersey and in Brick Township, received a positive report, demonstrating overall compliance with CARF standards and excellence throughout the organization.
CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, is an international organization that promotes quality, value and optimal outcomes of services that center on enhancing the lives of children and adults with disabilities. Bancroft has earned another three-year accreditation from the organization.
The report cited numerous strengths, including:
- • Persons served are treated with dignity and respect, and their quality of life is truly the focus of the organization and its dedicated leadership and staff members.
- • Bancroft NeuroHealth Preschool is commended for offering an outstanding model program for children with autism, with a high number of children who transition to school district programs when they complete the preschool curriculum.
- • Bancroft NeuroHealth's employment services staff members have developed excellent relationships with the business community, which has resulted in meaningful employment for persons served.
- • The organization is commended for its focus on the collection of data, the pursuit of continuous quality improvement and financial scrutiny and stability.
- • Strategic planning efforts between management and the board reflect desire to provide state-of-the-art facilities and program expansion with the development of a new campus.
