Bancroft NeuroHealth’s Delaware Programs Receive Highest Level of CARF Accreditation
Haddonfield, NJ -- Following the completion and review of a comprehensive survey conducted in January, Bancroft NeuroHealth's programs for adults with developmental disabilities in Delaware received a positive report, demonstrating overall compliance with CARF standards and excellence.
CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities, is an international organization that promotes quality, value and optimal outcomes of services that center on enhancing the lives of children and adults with disabilities. Bancroft has earned another three-year accreditation from the organization, the maximum term awarded.
The report cited numerous strengths, including:
- • The commitment, dedication, enthusiasm, and skills of the director and staff members are strengths. This level of professional commitment is found throughout the organization.
- • Bancroft NeuroHealth’s person-centered plans are well conceived and implemented. They clearly outline the participation of the person served by explaining in his/her terms desired outcomes.
- • Bancroft NeuroHealth demonstrates a strong commitment to the persons served. This is clearly visible in the conscientious and rapid response of staff members to problem solving which ensures that issues and problems are promptly addressed as they arise.

Bancroft also recently received a three-year reaccredidation of its New Jersey programs.
Founded in 1883, Bancroft NeuroHealth annually serves more than 1,200 children and adults with developmental disabilities, brain injuries and other neurological impairments. Based in Haddonfield, N.J., Bancroft has sites in Camden, Burlington, Gloucester, Ocean and Salem counties in New Jersey, and in Delaware, serving the needs of the entire tri-state region. Programs include education, rehabilitation, vocational, residential, evaluation and treatment services.
