Colleen Macalino joined Bancroft as Controller in August 2005, and was appointed Vice President of Finance in March 2007. Ms. Macalino came to Bancroft after her prior employer, Philadelphia District Steam Company, was sold. She worked at the Philadelphia District Steam Company for 18 years, progressing to the position of Corporate Controller during her tenure there. Prior to that, Ms. Macalino had her own accounting practice.
Ms. Macalino is a certified public accountant in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She is a member of the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and graduated magna cum laude from Villanova University.
As a mother of a young man with severe disabilities, Ms. Macalino feels that it was her destiny to serve at Bancroft. “It is a privilege and honor to work here,” says Ms. Macalino.
