Toni Pergolin Named President of Bancroft NeuroHealth

HADDONFIELD, N.J. - Raymond Welsh, Chairman of the Bancroft NeuroHealth Board of Trustees, is pleased to announce the appointment of Toni Pergolin as President, effective immediately. Pergolin joined the Bancroft staff in 2004 and held the positions of chief operating officer, chief financial officer and executive vice president of finance and planning before assuming the role as president.

“Under Toni’s leadership, we have achieved greater financial stability and have a clear focus on day-to-day operations, including attention to systems and processes, accountability and staff development,” said Welsh. “Although many individuals worked together to address Bancroft’s challenges while stabilizing the organization, Toni must be singled-out for her role in leading the team.”

As president, Pergolin will continue working toward a bright future for Bancroft while strongly adhering to the organization’s mission to help individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injuries and other neurological impairments achieve maximum self-sufficiency and fulfillment in their lives. “Those served by Bancroft, their families and staff members will remain my highest priority,” Pergolin said. Pergolin oversees a staff of about 1,300; major campuses in Haddonfield, Mullica Hill, Brick Township and Voorhees; more than 100 group homes and supervised apartments throughout South Jersey and Delaware; four special education schools; supported employment and day programs for adults; and in-home services for families throughout Camden County; as well as consultation and training for school districts and other professionals in the field.

Before joining Bancroft in 2004, Pergolin served as assistant vice president of decision support and reimbursement for the University of Pennsylvania Health System. She had previously held several other positions in the Health System, including chief financial officer of Pennsylvania Hospital, assistant executive director and controller of Phoenixville Hospital, and financial administrator of network/hospital operations for Pennsylvania and Phoenixville Hospitals. Prior to joining the University of Pennsylvania Health System, she served as senior examiner for First Pennsylvania Bank.

Pergolin, a Certified Public Accountant, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from The Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in health administration from St. Joseph’s University.
