3.22.10 | Free Developmental Disability Workshop: Functional Behavior Assessment

Bancroft will be holding its next workshop in its free Developmental Disabilities (DD) Workshop Series on Wednesday, March 24, 2010 from 6:30PM-8:30PM.

This workshop, designed for professionals, will focus on defining what Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) is and how it is used to guide behavior plan development. Discussion of strategies employed to conduct an FBA including indirect assessment, direct observation, functional analysis and Antecedent Behavior Consequence (ABC) data will be explored. In addition, which professional practitioners are qualified to conduct FBAs and how information and recommendations from FBAs can be implemented in the school or home settings will also be addressed.

The workshop will be held in the Farrington Building, located on Bancroft’s Campus in Haddonfield, New Jersey. For further information or to register, please contact Pat Reid at (856) 524-7453 or email preid@bnh.org

These workshops are available to the public at no charge. Support generously provided by the TD Charitable Foundation.
