4.09 | Free Developmental Disability Workshop: Characteristics of Autism

WHAT: Bancroft NeuroHealth's FREE workshop series on topics related to developmental disabilities will focus this month on the Characteristics of Autism. The workshop will focus on describing the varied characteristics of Autism, Pervasive Developmental Disorder and Aspergers Disorder. Also discussed are the criteria for medical diagnosis, prevalence among the population, known etiology, the domain areas of effected impairment and associated features of each diagnosis. This workshop is open to the public. Families and caretakers of individuals with developmental disabilities and education professionals are encouraged to attend; continuing education credits (CEUs) are available.
