8.13.09 | Bancroft Welcomes PricewaterhouseCoopers Volunteers for Annual Day of Caring

120 interns freshen up the Jacob Schaefer Center

Haddonfield, NJ - August 13, 2009 - On Monday, August 3, PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) interns volunteered at Bancroft to paint the Jacob Schaefer Center located in Cherry Hill, NJ for their second annual Day of Caring.

PwC volunteers painted 45 of the facility's rooms including hallways, offices, training rooms, restrooms and kitchens with a fresh coat of paint bringing more vibrancy to the Jacob Schaefer Center. The interns also presented Bancroft with a new bench for a garden currently under development at the Cherry Hill facility, which is the base for Bancroft's extensive community programs for adults with neurological challenges.

"Bancroft is incredibly appreciative for the continued support of PricewaterhouseCoopers and for such an impressive turnout to this year's Day of Caring," said Toni Pergolin, president, Bancroft. "This event would not be possible without the support and encouragement of Joe Atkinson, Bancroft's board chairman and PwC principal."
