Bancroft Names New Vice President of Facilities
Merrie Winston brings 25 years of experience in construction and facilities planning to the organization.
(Cherry Hill, N.J.) – Bancroft welcomes Merrie Winston as Vice President of Facilities.
With more than 25 years’ experience in facilities and project management, design and construction. Winston will oversee planning, design/construction, real estate and maintenance operations for all Bancroft facilities, including 16 program locations and more than 200 community group homes in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
“As Bancroft continues to evolve to meet the needs of those we serve, Merrie’s project management and real estate experience will ensure that the needs of all our buildings, group homes and future expansions are met quickly and effectively,” said Bancroft President and Chief Executive Officer Toni Pergolin.
Winston was most recently principal of her own project management consulting firm in Voorhees. Prior to that, she was a senior project manager at Rowan University and a director at the New Jersey School Development Authority in Trenton. Additionally, she has experience in a variety of school and hospital settings in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
Winston has a real estate certification from Temple University and a master’s degree in Architecture from Tuskegee University. She is affiliated with the National Organization of Minority Architects, American Institute of Architects, Pennsylvania Society of Architects, Habitat for Humanity, and International Facility Management Association.
