New Chief Development Officer joins Bancroft to lead next phase of growth
Dr. Scott Janney brings over 25 years of fundraising success to the
South Jersey-based nonprofit organization
Cherry Hill, N.J. (October 17, 2016) – Bancroft has appointed Dr. Scott Janney, CFRE, RFC as Chief Development Officer overseeing all development and fundraising efforts across the organization. For Bancroft, the largest organization in New Jersey offering education, support and services to children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and those in need of neurological rehabilitation, Janney will provide focus on initiatives to support the growth and expansion of programs and services to meet the needs of over 2,000 individuals served annually.

Janney is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) and Registered Financial Consultant (RFC). He is also President of the Planned Giving Council of Greater Philadelphia.
Prior to joining Bancroft’s leadership team, Janney served as Assistant Vice President of Development at Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J.. Prior to that, he was Executive Director of the AtlantiCare Foundation. Janney earned his undergraduate degree from Asbury University, a master’s degree from Princeton Theological Seminary and a Doctorate in Educational Administration from Temple University.
Janney resides in Media, PA with his wife and son.
