In-Home Services help children thrive at home and in the community
We know there is no one answer to services and supports for children and adolescents with autism and developmental disabilities. That’s why we provide a custom array of in-home services and supports to provide an extra layer of behavioral therapy, direct support or to extend learning and skills from classroom to home.
Intensive In-Home (IIH) Services
When a child with autism or other developmental and intellectual disabilities is experiencing behavior problems, the whole family can go into crisis. If the interventions provided in school are not enough to stabilize behavior, Bancroft Intensive In-Home Services can help.
Bancroft’s Intensive In-Home Services are delivered by clinically licensed or certified practitioners in the comfort and familiarity of your own home or community setting. Our goal is to prevent the need for inpatient hospitalization or out-of-home placement.
Behaviors addressed include, but are not limited to:
- Noncompliance to directions
- Property destruction
- Self-injurious behaviors
- Inappropriate sexual behavior
