The Bancroft Emergency Fund will help us continue our integral services during this heightened time of need, funding the purchase of additional hand sanitizer, soap and personal protective equipment for staff, as well as air mattresses for the direct support professionals working around-the-clock to ensure seamless support for the individuals in our care. The COVID-19 pandemic is a scary and uncertain time.

The One World Fund
Bancroft’s Annual Fund is vital to bridging the gap between public funding for services and the true cost of care for the people we serve. We rely on our friends and families to support us and partner with us to help perpetuate Bancroft’s mission and vision. Unrestricted funds give Bancroft the ability to allocate resources where they are needed most during the current year. Your gifts impact the lives of people who need us most, providing hope for each individual to live life to his or her fullest potential.
Family Advisory Board
The Family Advisory Board (FAB) engages highly committed family members of those in Bancroft’s care who are passionate about ensuring the organization’s success and future sustainability. Members of the FAB assist with various fundraising initiatives and make an annual minimum contribution of $5,000 to Bancroft’s One World Fund.
Through bi-annual meetings, members have the opportunity to interact with Bancroft leadership and receive updates on the organization’s latest strategic initiatives, advocacy, fundraising, programs, services, and events, as well as access to presentations from Bancroft thought leaders. Being a member of the FAB comes with a call to serve in many ways – as ambassador, advocate, advisor, Bancroft champion, and more.

Memorial and Tribute Gifts
A donation to Bancroft is a thoughtful way to honor or pay tribute to someone special. Gifts can be made to express condolences, to recognize celebratory events and to honor people on their success or recognition. Commemorating an event in someone’s life by giving to Bancroft confirms your commitment to our mission and spreads our message.
To make a Memorial or Tribute gift:

Once your contribution has been received, an acknowledgement letter or email will be sent to the person(s) you designate, with no specific amount indicated. A tax receipt will be sent to you as donations to Bancroft are fully tax-deductible as provided by law.
B’Nai Mitzvah Project
If you are looking for a charitable giving opportunity as part of your mitzvah project, Bancroft has curated a B’nai Mitzvah program that will remove some of the stress that comes with finding an organization that fits with your interests. We can suggest ideas for projects that work for you – whether you host a virtual karaoke event, a neighborhood fundraiser, or an educational online fundraiser, you can choose what speaks to you.
All donations for the B’Nai Mitzvah Project can be allocated to the area of your choice: fund an adult enrichment project, arts and crafts supplies, or designate that your donation be allocated to sensory equipment in Bancroft’s highest-need area. The Bancroft B’nai Mitzvah program is designed to be a fun, meaningful and memorable experience leading up to your big day. United Way Donor Choice
Bancroft is eligible to receive funding through two regional United Way Donor Choice programs. Some Bancroft donors prefer to make their contributions through these programs. Please consider donating through your employer’s United Way workplace campaign and selecting Bancroft as your designation. Bancroft’s donor choice number for Greater Philadelphia and Southern NJ is 1069. The donor choice number for United Way of DE (serving DE and Salem County, NJ) is 4455.

Blue Jeans for Bancroft
Give employees the opportunity to dress down for the workday by participating in the Blue Jeans for Bancroft corporate fundraising experience.
