Hiring for more than 400 full-time and part-time, permanent positions in New Jersey and Delaware.

(Cherry Hill, N.J.) – Bancroft, one of the region’s largest providers of support and services for people with autism, intellectual & developmental disabilities and brain injuries, is hiring for more than 400 full-time and part-time, permanent positions in New Jersey and Delaware.

Bancroft’s services and employees are considered essential, and continue to operate 24/7 through the COVID-19 pandemic.

“These are not temporary positions; we are looking for caring, compassionate candidates who have found themselves out of work and are ready to explore a new career where they can truly make an impact,” said Jonathan Lutz, Bancroft director of talent acquisition.

With a variety of shifts available and benefits including tuition repayment and reimbursement, it’s also an ideal opportunity for current college students – especially those who now face uncertainty around internship and post-graduation plans.

“Jobs in healthcare and human services are among the fastest-growing professions in the country — but they’re also among the most secure and sustainable,” Lutz says. “As essential employees, they remain in high demand, especially in times of crisis.”

The majority of open positions are in direct support, providing one-on-one care to men, women and children with disabilities who live in Bancroft residential programs.

While experience is not required, patience and compassion are essential qualities. Bancroft provides extensive training to new employees. In addition to competitive pay, Bancroft offers numerous employee benefits, including tuition reimbursement and repayment options, as well as opportunities for career growth including continued education and leadership training.

To ensure the health and safety of applicants, Bancroft is conducting phone interviews and virtual screenings. Candidates are encouraged to apply online at bancroft.org/careers.
