Bancroft parent and Family Executive Council chairwoman Laura Kuntz has been named 2019 Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser by the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Southern New Jersey Chapter.

Kuntz will be honored by the organization at its National Philanthropy Day Award breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 14. Kuntz has been a volunteer and advocate for over 25 years, working to advance autism awareness, programs, research and policies and the organizations that support these efforts, all in service to her son, Ross, who participates in Bancroft’s adult residential program. Through the years, Laura’s passion has motivated hundreds of others to give, become involved in and support the integral work of organizations like Bancroft and Autism Speaks’ New Jersey chapter, where Laura is a former board member.

As chair of the Family Executive Council, Laura is an exemplary ambassador for Bancroft, leading a group of family members who support Bancroft in helping to advance its mission for the individuals served today, and in the future. She also serves on Bancroft’s Human Rights Committee, Development Committee and the One World Run Committee — where Laura has been a leading fundraiser in Ross’s name. Laura’s impact on Bancroft is priceless – and her passion is contagious. Please join us in celebrating this honor!
