Bancroft’s signature fundraising event, the Butterfly Ball, returns this spring for an evening of celebration, community, and impact.

The annual gala brings together friends, families, partners, and supporters who share a commitment to empowering individuals with autism and other intellectual and developmental disabilities to live their best lives. Proceeds from the event directly support Bancroft’s programs and services, helping advance its mission across the region.

This year’s Butterfly Ball will be held Saturday, April 18, at Ballroom at the Ben in Philadelphia,  and will feature dinner, dancing, entertainment, and more.

Whether you attend, sponsor, or donate, every contribution helps strengthen programs and create meaningful opportunities for the individuals and families Bancroft supports every day.

Meet the 2026 Butterfly Ball Honorees

Bancroft is proud to recognize two honorees whose leadership, partnership, and commitment are helping create meaningful change for individuals and families in our community.

Community Impact Award: Fulton Bank

Fulton Bank has been a trusted partner of Bancroft since 2011, growing alongside us while maintaining the personalized approach of a true community bank. Their guiding principle, “Change Lives for the Better,” reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the communities around us. As a corporate leader in philanthropy, Fulton Bank has provided thoughtful guidance and steadfast support during pivotal moments in Bancroft’s history. They lead with a culture of service and volunteerism, and their dedication to community impact is deeply embedded in who they are. Together, we demonstrate how strong partnerships can create lasting, positive change.

Visionary Leadership Award: A.J. Drexel Autism Institute

The A.J. Drexel Autism Institute (AJDAI) is a leading expert in advancing research and care for individuals with autism across the lifespan. Together, we are expanding understanding of aging, dementia, and healthcare access while also developing innovative, evidence-based interventions for children and adults with complex needs. By combining cutting-edge research, emerging technologies, and real-world applications, AJDAI is helping to transform care and ensuring that individuals receive meaningful support at every stage of life. This collaboration exemplifies how strong partnerships can turn knowledge into action and create lasting impact for the communities we serve.
