ARPA Grant supports renovation at Bancroft’s Lebensfeld Adult Day & Employment Program
Bancroft recently completed a renovation of the upstairs space at its Lebensfeld Adult Day & Employment Program in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, supported by $150,000 in grant funding awarded through the Township of Cherry Hill in 2024.
The grant was administered through Cherry Hill’s RISE Program as part of its allocation of federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF).

The project included HVAC, electrical, data and telecommunications infrastructure, plumbing, and millwork to make the space fully functional. The renovated space accommodates approximately 20 employees per day, with workstations, private offices, conference space, and shared areas where teams can collaborate, plan, and coordinate services.
The space primarily benefits the operations and administrative teams that support Bancroft’s day and vocational services. As Bancroft has worked to accommodate more individuals who need these services, much of its existing space has been dedicated to the programs they attend. The renovation gives employees supporting those programs room to work and collaborate.
This investment benefits both Bancroft’s teams and the individuals and families who rely on its day and vocational services. Continuing to improve the work environment for our teams helps them focus on what matters most: providing quality care and support for the individuals and families who count on Bancroft.
