Jason Anhorn, M.Ed., CFRE is Chief Development Officer at Bancroft, providing strategic leadership for development, marketing and communications, and government affairs. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across higher education, healthcare, and the nonprofit sector, with a focus on philanthropy, community engagement, external relations, and organizational growth.

Prior to joining Bancroft, Jason served as Chief Executive Officer of Council for Relationships, one of the nation’s oldest nonprofit organizations dedicated to strengthening relationships and improving mental and behavioral health. He previously served as the organization’s Chief Advancement Officer, leading philanthropic strategy, external relations, and organizational advancement. His career also includes leadership roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Elon University, Coastal Carolina University, and other mission-driven organizations.

A Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Jason holds a bachelor’s degree from Lehigh University and a master’s degree in education from the University of South Carolina.
