Lisa MacDonald

Lisa MacDonald is Chief Human Resources Officer at Bancroft, leading human resources strategy to support the organization’s workforce and mission. She brings extensive leadership experience across healthcare, human services, and the nonprofit sector, with expertise in workforce planning, recruitment and retention, compensation, and organizational development.

Prior to joining Bancroft, Lisa served as Vice President of Operations at The Columbus Organization, a national case management firm supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. She oversaw Human Resources and IT, modernized HR systems and guided the organization’s transition to remote operations during COVID-19. She also served as Vice President of Human Resources at Aramark Healthcare, where she led initiatives that strengthened recruitment, retention, performance management, and succession planning.

Most recently, Lisa worked as a principal consultant, advising boards and senior leaders on workforce strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and executive development. Her approach emphasizes transparency, equity, and building trust with leaders and frontline employees.
