Colleen Rowan-Valentino is responsible for developing and overseeing high quality services provided by Bancroft at Voorhees Pediatric Facility, Early Education and Homebound Instruction Services.  She has over 25 years of experience in the field.

Prior to joining Bancroft in 1994, Rowan-Valentino was a Special Education Teacher for the State of New Jersey at The Voorhees Pediatric Facility and Lead Teacher for Archway’s Early Intervention Program. Her passion and educational philosophy focus on providing quality educational opportunities in a collaborative, positive learning environment, enriched with technology and curriculum-based instruction, which enables children to develop their abilities and independently access their learning environment.

Rowan-Valentino is certified by the Department of Education as an Elementary Educator, Special Education Educator, Education Supervisor and Principal.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in Education and Psychology at The College of St. Elizabeth and her master’s in Special Education and Educational Leadership at The College of New Jersey.
