A Peaceful Setting

Nestled in a quiet, tree-lined area of South Jersey, Lakeside offers:

  • Peaceful surroundings that support regulation and reduce stress
  • Spacious, modern homes that promote comfort, routine, and safety
  • An environment where clinical expertise and daily engagement come together in one place

The Lakeside staff regularly incorporate the outdoors into routines, from nature walks and group games on the lawn to the ever-popular “Water Play Day.”

The landscape itself becomes part of each person’s support plan, encouraging movement, joy, and connection.

Programs That Meet Each Person Where They Are

Onsite day programs, vocational opportunities, and supportive routines provide consistent structure and minimal transitions:

  • Daily programming based on personal goals and preferences
  • Work readiness opportunities and community partnerships (like Meals on Wheels)
  • On-site horticulture program offering sensory input, routine, and a sense of purpose

Coordinated Clinical and Compassionate Care

Each person is supported by a dedicated clinical team, including:

  • A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

  • Applied Behavioral Therapy (ABA) Specialist

  • Nursing staff

Together, they provide consistent, individualized care, with as many services as possible delivered onsite to reduce stress and maintain stability.

Support staff come from a wide range of backgrounds but share a deep commitment to safety, empathy, and person-centered care.
