Bancroft Names New Board Members

Cherry Hill, N.J. (May 21, 2018) – Bancroft, New Jersey’s largest provider of support and services for individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities and those in need of neurological rehabilitation, has named three new members to its Board of Trustees. Andrea Agnew, Martin Bieber and Calvin Cass bring a breadth of experience to the prestigious group of leaders dedicated to advancing the 135-year-old organization and its mission of helping each individual Bancroft serves to realize their greatest potential.

Andrea Agnew

Andrea Agnew is Executive Director of Change Management for Comcast’s Total Rewards organization. She previously served as Vice President of Human Resources for Comcast Spotlight, where she helped restructure 13 regions into 9 and streamlined sales operations into one business model. Agnew has extensive experience in diversity and inclusion, leading Comcast’s strategy in those areas from 2007-15, and is a graduate of several leadership educational programs, including the Urban Leaders Forum (ULF), Urban League of Philadelphia; the Executive Leadership Development Program, UCLA Anderson School of Management; and the Authentic Leadership Development program, Harvard Business School. Most recently, Agnew was nominated to attend the 2018 Comcast Women in Leadership program at Wharton.

Martin Bieber

Martin Bieber brings more than 40 years of healthcare management experience to his second stint as a Board member. Bieber is Chief Executive Officer of the University Radiology Group in Central and Northern New Jersey. He has also served as CEO of Kennedy Health System, and is a former executive of Catholic Health Services of Long Island, New York. Bieber is a member of the Board of Directors of the Patient Access Network Foundation, and has held previous board positions with the Developmental Disabilities Institute, the Chamber of Commerce of Southern New Jersey, and the New Jersey Hospital Association. Bieber previously served on the Bancroft Board of Trustees from 2008-17, and as Board Chairman from 2008-11, during a time of great growth and development, including the development of Bancroft’s new Welsh Campus in Mt. Laurel.

Calvin Cass

Calvin Cass is a Vice President at The Graham Company, where he manages large insurance clients in the areas of health and human services, financial and professional services and manufacturing. An Army veteran and graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point, Cass previously worked as a Six Sigma Black Belt at GE. He has served as a member of the Bancroft Rehabilitation Services Board of Trustees since 2012. He brings an extensive knowledge of risk management to his role on the Board, after having supported safety initiatives within the organization for many years.
