Karen Reiss

Karen brings more than three decades of experience serving adults with intellectual disabilities to Bancroft. She joined the organization in 1985, in a direct care role. Over the years, she has held various positions throughout the organization including program manager, area supervisor and director.

From 2001 to 2011, Reiss was responsible for the operation of Bancroft’s Delaware programs, where she opened seven homes and was responsible for the day-to-day operations of 13 group homes. Additionally, she chaired the Disability Commission for the Delaware Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (DeLARF). In 2015, she became the director of the Pennsylvania Programs, where currently oversees 14 group homes and four apartments, located in southeastern Pennsylvania.
