Stabilization for Reintegration
Applying evidence-based therapeutic interventions in a clinically rich environment, Bancroft’s team of experts works with each child to reduce severe behaviors and help stabilize them, allowing them to reintegrate back to their school and community.
A diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder is required to fund the program with insurance. However, we provide services to clients with diagnoses including:
- Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)
- Developmental delay
- Intellectual disability
- Intermittent explosive disorder
- Oppositional defiant disorder (ODD)
This intensive outpatient program is a highly specialized, clinically-rich program designed to meet the unique needs of each child we support. Children receive therapy in private treatment rooms provided by RBTs, BCBAs overseen by doctoral level BCBAs with expertise in treating severe and challenging behavior.
The program is individualized. While short-term, the treatment length depends on the needs of your child.
Family involvement in the Severe Behavior Treatment Program is critical for your child’s success. Parent involvement is expected throughout the course of your child’s treatment. Families will be incorporated into the treatment throughout the process, with the final weeks of the program dedicated to assisting you and your family with the transition from the program to your child’s daily routine.
Bancroft admissions specialists can help you work through the process. Call 800-774-5516 for more information.
