The New Jersey ACCSES award recognizes Bancroft’s partnership with Goodwill and its role in creating employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities.
Bancroft received the Community Partnership Impact Award at the 2026 New Jersey American Congress of Community Support and Employment Services (ACCSES) STAR Conference for its partnership with Goodwill Industries of Southern New Jersey & Philadelphia.
Through this collaboration, individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Bancroft’s supported employment program travel in small groups to provide custodial and maintenance services at more than twelve Goodwill contract sites and retail locations.
Their work includes vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, picking up items under clothing racks, and dusting. The partnership advances both organizations’ commitment to employment opportunities for people with disabilities, giving individuals supported by Bancroft a meaningful role in the workforce while helping Goodwill sustain services that create opportunities for others.
Goodwill nominated Bancroft for its commitment to quality service, teamwork, and community inclusion, highlighting the Bancroft team members who help make the partnership successful.
Members of Bancroft’s Adult Employment team, job coaches, and individuals who work at Goodwill traveled to Atlantic City, New Jersey, to attend the conference and accept the award.
Bancroft is grateful to Goodwill and New Jersey ACCSES for this recognition and looks forward to continuing a partnership that creates opportunities for individuals with disabilities to participate in the workforce and contribute to their communities.
