Bancroft Recognizes Team Members at Annual Celebration

Bancroft celebrated team members at the 33rd Annual Breakfast of Champions, where employees throughout all the service lines were awarded in different categories including: Rookie, Maggie Awards, Clinical Excellence, Leadership, Lifetime Service, Team and Bancroft’s highest honor, the Toni Award which went to Tony Gravinese, of the Bancroft School, who has been dedicated to serving our children and youth for over 18 years.

This year we received 608 nominations for nearly 447 individual team members.   The combined experience of the winners  is 388 years.  The longest tenured winner was Cara Davis who celebrated her 32nd anniversary in September. And we were able to celebrate first-time Maggie winner Lori Pitts whose daughter, Latoya Richardson, is a previous Maggie winner.

“This is one of my favorite days of the year,” said Toni Pergolin, Bancroft President & CEO. “I love seeing colleagues enjoying each other’s company, sharing a meal and celebrating each other and the work we accomplished together. These winners are the team builders and the optimists; the difference makers and the caregivers and we are thrilled to be able to recognize them.”

Nominations were submitted from both staff and families whose loved ones are supported by Bancroft. Fifty-five final winners were awarded at the breakfast which was held at Maggiano’s in Cherry Hill.

Nominations are opened each year in September with the Breakfast of Champions held in December.
