Bancroft Welcomes New Chief Development Officer

Susan Piergallini brings 25 years of healthcare, education fundraising experience

(Cherry Hill, N.J.) – Bancroft has hired Susan Piergallini as its new Chief Development Officer. She will oversee all development and fundraising efforts for the nonprofit organization, one of New Jersey’s largest providers of services for people with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities and those in need of neurological rehabilitation.

Piergallini brings to Bancroft more than 25 years’ experience in healthcare and education fundraising and operations, fund development, and strategic planning and execution.

“Philanthropic support is integral for our nonprofit to achieve our mission – and we are thrilled to have Sue’s fresh vision, energy and experience to help meet Bancroft’s mission of supporting those who need our specialized care,” said Toni Pergolin, Bancroft President and Chief Executive Officer.

Piergallini was most recently Associate Vice President of Operations at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, where she developed new policies and procedures and built a stronger operational infrastructure for the organization. She was also a key fundraising team member for CHOP’s $1 billion comprehensive campaign.

Prior to CHOP, Piergallini spent 15 years at Community College of Philadelphia, where she served as Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the College Foundation.

Piergallini has a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Widener University.
