Virtual Family Visitations: A Guide to Using Google Hangouts

As we continue to monitor COVID-19 in the communities we serve, we will be restricting visitor access to all programs beginning Monday, March 16.

During this time, we encourage you to schedule video conferencing and phone calls with your loved one.

Bancroft staff will be using Google Hangouts Meet to participate on video calls with families and their loved ones. This is a free, online video conferencing tool available through the Google Suite applications. You do not need a Gmail account to join a Google Meet video call.

Our team has put together a “how-to” guide for families who are unfamiliar with the application.
