Bancroft’s International Recruitment Program Brings New Global Talent to Our Team

Bancroft is proud to celebrate the successful launch of our first International Recruitment Program, an initiative designed to expand our talent pipeline and bring diverse perspectives to our workforce. This program helps fill critical roles, such as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and clinical positions, with highly qualified professionals from around the world—strengthening our ability to provide exceptional care and support.

Our first five international hires—Mathew Nyaledzigbor, Portia Teinor, Salifu Inusah, Betty Osafo, and Emmanuel Dzakpasu—bring valuable skills, dedication, and fresh cultural perspectives that enrich our community. Although we recruited candidates from around the world, this first group of hires all hail from Ghana, an exciting start to a program that will continue to bring diverse talent and perspectives to Bancroft.

This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our HR team, who worked tirelessly to launch and implement the program, and the incredible team at our Lakeside Program, who warmly welcomed our new colleagues. Their support has been instrumental in ensuring a smooth transition for our international hires as they settle into their new roles and lives in the U.S.

As we continue to learn and grow, we look forward to the future of this program and its impact on our workforce and the individuals we support. The Bancroft School at Welsh Campus will be the next to welcome international hires, further expanding our reach and strengthening our team. By bringing in talent from around the world, we are building a more dynamic, inclusive workforce—one that reflects the richness of the global community.
