Bancroft Continues Remote Learning for Extended School Year (ESY)

Dear Bancroft Families,

While the past 3 months have been difficult and challenging for all of us, on behalf of the Bancroft staff and faculty we would like to thank you for partnering with us and helping us continue provision of education services to your children. It was literally a TEAM effort and we have all grown and learned from this experience. Thank You!

We have elected to stay with our original plan of continuing our remote learning model for ESY for both The Bancroft School and Bancroft Preschool & Early Education Programs.

We look forward to seeing all of you virtually on Monday July 6th. In most cases your child’s teacher will remain the same for ESY. Your child’s teacher and clinical team will be contacting you during our In-Service days on July 1st and 2nd to determine a schedule for ESY. Instructional packets for ESY are being mailed out now, along with your child’s 4th marking period report.

Given the Governor’s direction last week, we will move forward this summer with creating a hybrid of in-person and remote learning for students starting in September. We will also make any classroom/teacher changes at that time. You can expect to hear more about our plans for the new school year in the coming weeks.

Parents of graduating students will be receiving additional communication about our virtual graduation happening in August.

Have a safe and enjoyable summer!

Respectfully,

Patrick J. Senft M. Ed., Bancroft School – Principal

Elizabeth Fuzy, Bancroft Preschool & Early Education – Principal
