With over 200 community-based group homes and apartments, Bancroft brings decades of experience and a high-level of expertise to enable independence, inspire inclusion and foster socialization for residents. Located in safe, attractive neighborhoods in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware, residents thrive among their peers and participate fully in their communities. Our highly trained staff provides the support needed by each person for daily living skills and accessing community services, recreation and engagement.
Bancroft’s Community Residential program invites group activity while respecting the individuality of each resident. People of all needs and abilities contribute to daily responsibilities and chores, take part in day and vocational programs, and enjoy group and individual recreation and leisure activities during evenings and weekends.
Community Group Homes
Located throughout South Jersey, southeastern Pennsylvania and northern Delaware, Bancroft group homes are fully accessible with private bedrooms,fully stocked kitchens and common areas for relaxation and recreation. On-site staff supports residents in developing and improving daily living skills while fostering independence at every opportunity.
Spacious apartments with 24-hour staff supervision feature private bedrooms and shared common areas. Staff members provide support in meal preparation and other daily living tasks.
For those with more independent living skills, supported apartments allow room-mates to live in a Bancroft apartment with periodic check-ins and support from staff members who maintain an office in the apartment complex.
Some people may rent or own their own apartments but need some extra help balancing their budget, arranging transportation or setting up appointments. Bancroft’s Milestone Program provides periodic staff check ins to help with these and other tasks and provide companionship.
